John Gammon of Pollstar.com reports: The organizers of Wacken Open Air have had to move both their new 15,000-capacity "mini festivals" because local authorities in Aurich, Germany are concerned about the number of people their events will attract and want to move to a larger site.

"I hope they're right because their numbers are much bigger than the ones we expected," Wacken chief Thomas Jensen told Pollstar. He said he's happy to move because his organization has a good relationship with the burghers of Aurich and the new site — just outside the town — is bigger and better.

C'erano tre festival "satelliti" di Wacken in giro per la Germania, c'era anche il topic ma non ho voglia di cercarlo :ghgh

Certo, se si pensa a "mini festivals" di 15.000 persone viene quasi da ridere...

vabbe altri gruppi buoni ci sono (nevermore e gwar, tanto per dirne due).

il problema e` proprio il complesso: ci sono mille palchi pieni di cazzate e i TRE palchi principali hanno un sacco di gruppi veramente del cazzo :punt

la gente, nel resto d'europa va per il festival in se.. se ne frega dei gruppi (cosa che il metallaromedioculopesanteitaliano non fa).. per questo che qua da noi non funziona.. ci vorrebbe più gente che la pensasse nel modo più "europeo"!!
