Dear SUMMER BREEZE Community,
The summer of 2009 is gone! It was a consistently nice one with few rainy downs and plenty of sunny ups! One of them obviously being SUMMER BREEZE 2009, which has entered the festival annals as the most successful edition so far. Great bands, mainly perfect festival weather, a completely new traffic concept which proved to work flawlessly, sparing you the massive traffic jam of 2008, and especially the following two things made SUMMER BREEZE 2009 an unforgettable experience: a totally relaxed atmosphere and you, our super chilled-out festivalgoers! A big huge thank you goes out to you all! Without you, all of this wouldn't be possible!
Now the time has come to look forward again, as the preparations for SUMMER BREEZE 2010 are in full swing.
http://www.summer-breeze.de has been completely revamped! Also the ticket pre-sales for SUMMER BREEZE 2010 have just started. In our webshop (http://www.silverdust-shop.de) you can get a 3-day ticket for 70.- Euros (66.- Euros plus pre-sale fee)! Same as last year, the first 10,000 tickets will get a free DVD on top! This time with live footage and impressions from SUMMER BREEZE 2008! So you better be quick and order your tickets right away in order to secure this chock-full DVD, which by the way won't be available for purchase anywhere else!
The first bands confirmed for SUMMER BREEZE 2010 will be announced in our popular Advent Calendar starting on December 01 at the latest.
In closing, a few words about your criticism of the 2009 festival, which we will obviously take into high consideration when planning SUMMER BREEZE 2010. The gravel surfaces in front of each stage were only a temporary solution. This will be worked out properly in 2010. Also next year the campground will be made up exclusively of meadows. No one will have to build their tents on uneven fields. We also want to improve the service at the Infopoint, which was implemented for the first time in 2009. Your complaints about any problems will reach us more quickly, allowing us to react faster and better.
Last but not least, we'd like to draw your attention towards two events that should shorten the wait until SUMMER BREEZE 2010! On October 23 and 24 the SUNDOWN FESTIVAL will take place at the Körhalle in Gaildorf (with ILL NINO, RAGE, END OF GREEN, EQUILIBRIUM and POWERWOLF, among others). In the middle of the metallic winter, the LKA in Stuttgart will host the WINTER FREEZE 2010. Confirmed bands are KATAKLYSM, ELUVEITIE, MAROON and HACKNEYED, among others. All further info can be found on
