I hope this letter reaches you all in good health and with happy souls.
I have some news...
As you probably know, each year OMNIA chooses to share the musical fruits of their creativity by releasing their newest CD or DVD productions exclusively at Castlefest in Lisse (Holland), this year on the 6th, 7th and 8th of August 2010.
This gives all our die-hard fans who gather there the opportunity to get this very special 10th album release first! And also it allowes you to get it personally from our super-merchbabe, the ever-lovely and charming Chloé.
BUT most of you won't make it to Castlefest, I know. So, we are now doing three more special release parties on three other fantastic and groovy festivals in Europe:
-21st August 2010 "Deerlycke Folk Festival" , Deerlijk (BELGIUM)
-10th September 2010 "Festival Mediaval", Selb (GERMANY)
-18th September 2010 "Cidre et Dragon" festival, Merville (FRANCE)
so that most of you will get a chance to see the new show fresh, and to get the CD from us personally with a signature on it ...(if you're into that sort of thing ;-)
This year, our newest musical child has been given the name:
"WOLF LOVE"
(because if you can learn to truly love and understand the wild wolf, then you begin to really understand nature)
"WOLF LOVE" will be a special CD/DVD multimedia-pack which will of course contain a CD, with 16 new tracks of the brilliant and varied new sounds of OMNIA.
Also in the same beautifully made, 32-page full colour illustrated, gold embossed package (yeah baby!), you will get an extra DVD of Live tracks filmed and recorded at the "Pagan Night" of Castlefest 2009 (as well as a "making of the studio album" and many other weird and wonderful video extras)!
We worked out the price of a DVD production and the price of a new CD production together and that would make the price you would have to pay at least € 45,- (!!)
But as you know, we'd rather make music than money, we have many friends and volunteers that help us and we certainly don't like nasty commercialism.
So...we have decided to sell it for less than half of that, namely:
only € 18,-!!
We did this so that all of you will be able to buy it (instead of just ripping it off the internet like you might do with rich commercial big-label bands, who let their record companies do all the work for them)
The new CD/DVD Album "WOLF LOVE" (as well as other cool new OMNIA -Wolf Love shirts, posters and other goodies) will be available at the OMNIA merchandise stand next to the main stage all during Castlefest, Deerlycke, Festival Mediaval and Cidre et Dragon!
And for those of you who cannot wait , "WOLF LOVE" will already be for sale directly from our webshop straight after the Castlefest weekend.
