APOCALYPTICA: titolo del nuovo album

I finlandesi APOCALYPTICA hanno scelto "7th Symphony" come titolo del loro settimo album che dovrebbe uscire durante l'estate 2010. Il CD sarà prodotto ancora da Howard Benson (MOTÖRHEAD, PAPA ROACH, SEPULTURA).

I finlandesi APOCALYPTICA pubblicheranno il loro settimo album, intitolato '7th Symphony', il 23 agosto. la maggior parte dell'album è stata prodotta da Joe Barresi (TOOL, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, BAD RELIGION), le restanti due canzoni da Howard Benson (MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, MOTÖRHEAD, PAPA ROACH).

Il primo singolo estratto dal CD, intitolato 'End Of Me', ha come ospite Gavin Rossdale, il cantante dei BUSH. Sull'album altri importanti ospiti: il batterista degli SLAYER Dave Lombardo suona sulla canzone '2010'; 'Bring Them To Light' ha ospite il cantante dei GOJIRA Joseph Duplantier; 'Broken Pieces' è una collaborazione con il cantante dei FLYLEAF Lacey Sturm; 'Not Strong Enough' è cantata da Brent Smith degli SHINEDOWN.

At long last – News from the APO-Headquarter…

We just returned from the US where we played a few shows to get in shape for the upcoming endeavours. We are thrilled to hit live stages with new song material again!

„7th Symphony“, our new album, is set to be released August 24th in North America (Aug 23rd in Rest of World). Please find enclosed the album cover for the very first time!

The majority of the album was produced by Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens Of The Stoneage, Bad Religion etc.) with two other songs produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Motörhead, Papa Roach). The first single, “End Of Me”, is featuring Gavin Rossdale, best known as vocalist of the British alternative rock band Bush. Its video had just been shot last week. More on this to be revealed very soon right here!

The album also features a number of other notable guest performances: Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo plays on "2010", "Bring Them To Light" features Joseph Duplantier, singer and guitarist of the French death metal band Gojira, "Broken Pieces" is a cooperation with Flyleaf singer Lacey and "Not Strong Enough" is sung by Brent Smith (Shinedown).

We are set to promote the release of the new album with a worldwide tour in 2010 and beyond. We have just added a full European run in Oct/Nov 2010 (more dates still to be added). Let’s sum up what we’ve got so far for the upcoming months:
